A new software Service Bulletin has been released and distributed. The Service Bulletin 0935 Rev A was released August 13, 2009.

The following applies to:

This bulletin is applicable to GTX 330/330D and GTX 33/33D units with Software Version 6.10 or previous software versions, but is not applicable GTX 330/330D and GTX 33/33D units installed with GNS 480, G900X, G950, G1000, Cirrus Perspective®,
or Embraer Prodigy™ systems. The unit’s current software version is displayed at power up on the GTX 330/330D front panel.

Warranty Covers for the following units (w/ADS-B functionality):

GTX 33/33D - P/N's 011-00779-20, 011-00779-21, 011-00779-30
GTX 330/330D - P/N's 011-00455-60, 011-00455-70, 011-00455-80, 011-00455-90

Warranty Does Not Cover for the following units (without/ADS-B functionality):

GTX 33/33D - P/N's 011-00779-00, 011-00779-01, 011-00779-10
GTX 330/330D - P/N's 011-00455-00, 011-00455-10, 011-00455-20, 011-00455-30, 011-00455-40, 011-00455-50

The Purpose:

This Service Bulletin announces the availability of Software Version 6.11 for GTX 330/330D and GTX 33/33D products (not applicable to GNS 480, G900X, G950, G1000, Cirrus Perspective®, or Embraer Prodigy™ installations). Software Version 6.11 resolves the issue announced by Service Bulletin 0923 (mandatory disabling of ADS-B function) and allows for configuration of ADS-B transmit.

Schedule a time to come in and get your software upgraded. This is a warranty claim update through Garmin, if applicable.
